Callidus creates safe working environments for all employees and communities influenced by our work. The breadth of our activities and the inherent risks of engineering challenges us to ensure that no-one is injured as a result of our operations.
We are acutely aware that the quality of our products determines the safety of our client’s operations. An unwavering focus on sound engineering is crucial to everything we do.
Callidus operates in accordance with a comprehensive occupational health and safety system and is accredited to AS/NZS 4801:2001
Our products are processed and supplied in accordance with our Quality Management system. Developed to be compliant with ISO 9001, it has been accredited to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management standard, or its previous equivalents since 1998.
Community
Callidus Group generates strong links with communities everywhere, employing local people and developing positive relationships with local schools by offering students work experience placements. We also offer work experience placements to client apprentices working in the industry and we’re committed to apprentice development and training.
Our community work includes supporting the cancer council through pink ribbon and prostate cancer fund raising activities, sponsoring Top End Drummer Barrel Racing that works with youth in the Northern Territory, donating to the autistic children fund and employing people with special needs. Callidus Group also participates in sporting activities that raises funds for various charities, including the Activ City to surf, John Hughes Big Walk and the Rottnest Channel Swim.
We recently participated in the Biggest Morning Tea which raises funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, education and support services. We are proud to announce that we raised a total amount of $1 324.20.
